A Delegation from the Engineers Association's Gaza Branch Visits the Seawater Desalination Plant in the Central Governorate

In continuation of CMWU's keenness to spread awareness among various segments of society in the Gaza Strip about the water situation and the challenges facing CMWU in the field of improving water services and the most important achievements it has made in order to improve the water supply using the latest desalination technologies and automatic control systems, with support and supervision from the Palestinian Water Authority and funding from partner international institutions, CMWU received a delegation from the Engineers Association's Gaza branch at the seawater desalination plant in the Central Governorate, as part of the activities carried out by the Association's Electromechanical Committee in visiting public service institutions and facilities.

The Association's delegation was received by Eng. Ahmed Al-Rubaie, official in charge of maintenance and operation at the desalination plants, who briefed the delegation on all the plant's facilities and gave them a comprehensive explanation of desalination technology and automatic control systems, as well as answering their questions and inquiries.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Engineers Association's delegation thanked CMWU for the warm reception and the detailed presentation of the plant's operating mechanism.
