CMWU, supported by Sawaed Al-Khair, supplied Gaza's municipal wells with sodium hypochlorite to protect drinking water from contamination.

CMWU, despite the Israeli bombardment of some areas, began the procedures to supply all water wells and sources affiliated with the Gaza Strip's municipalities with "sodium hypochlorite", supported by Sawaed Al-Khair Foundation.

This process aims to protect drinking water from contamination during transport and distribution in the networks spread across all cities of the Gaza Strip.

It is worth noting that disinfecting water using sodium hypochlorite is considered one of the best and safest methods used for water disinfection compared to other methods.
