Handover of the damage repair project site for water and sanitation networks in Beit Hanoun to the implementing company, funded by UNICEF.
CMWU, UNICEF, and Beit Hanoun Municipality handed over the work site for the project to repair the damage sustained by water and sanitation networks in the Beit Hanoun area during the recent Israeli war on the Strip, to the project's implementing company "Mushtaha Contracting", funded by UNICEF.
This project includes replacing the water network in the Industrial Area, 4,000 meters long and of various diameters, in addition to replacing and maintaining the main sanitation transmission line on Al-Sikka Street, 550 meters long, which pumps sewage water coming from all of Beit Hanoun's neighborhoods to the town's main pumping station, and this project also includes replacing the main sanitation line on Damra Street, 400 meters long and 12 inches in diameter.
It is worth noting that the water and sanitation network in Beit Hanoun sustained severe damage as a result of Israeli bombardment during the recent war.
