As part of preparing for the winter season and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, CMWU supplied all municipalities of the Gaza Strip with rain-protective clothing, disinfection materials, and personal protective equipment against the coronavirus, in addition to protective clothing specific to maintenance work on sewage facilities, and equipment used in emergency teams' work, particularly for unclogging and cleaning rainwater drains and sanitation lines and manholes, and others, aiming to equip the technical teams affiliated with CMWU and the Strip's municipalities to work during the winter season and deal with all emergencies and raise the level of readiness to intervene during the coming winter season.
