CMWU connected the Emirati desalination plant line to the Saudi reservoir in Rafah, serving the western, central, and eastern neighborhoods.
Work has been completed on connecting the transmission line for water from the Emirati seawater desalination plant to the Saudi reservoir, serving the western neighborhoods of Rafah and some of Rafah's central and eastern neighborhoods through the ground reservoir, which will improve the transmission and distribution of water in the targeted areas.
The desalination plant was established on the Egyptian side, generously funded by the United Arab Emirates through the humanitarian Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, with a production capacity of 2,400 cubic meters per day.
