During the weather depression...
CMWU's crews, using their heavy machinery, with the support of Deir al-Balah Municipality's crews and government emergency teams, worked to widen the Wadi Al-Salqa course in Deir al-Balah, with the aim of easing the effects of the weather depression, especially after the Israeli side opened the water dams adjacent to the eastern border of the Gaza Strip without prior warning.
CMWU also supplied Deir al-Balah, Bani Suheila, Jabalia, and Al-Qarara municipalities with mobile rainwater suction pumps to deal with rainwater overflow situations, and CMWU's crews, in cooperation with Deir al-Balah Municipality, repaired a sewage line next to Wadi Al-Salqa in Deir al-Balah city, in the middle of the Gaza Strip, in addition to urgent intervention to operate the Al-Maghraqa station's pumps to pump sewage water and urgent maintenance for the Al-Hasayna pumping station in Al-Nuseirat.
