
CMWU, in cooperation with UNICEF, supplied 6,000 liters of sodium hypochlorite to disinfect Gaza's well water.
As a continuation of the various efforts made to secure healthy, clean, and safe water for citizens and displaced persons, and amid the fragile health situation being experienced due to the continuing war on the Gaza Strip, and in cooperation with UNICEF and Gaza Municipality, CMWU today supplied a quantity of 6,000 liters of sodium hypochlorite solution, to supply the disinfection, purification, and chlorination systems at the drinking water production and pumping wells within Gaza Municipality's jurisdiction, which will enable the restoration and reactivation of the chlorine injection devices needed to disinfect drinking water, to prevent and combat any pathogenic causes.
