CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, maintained water and sanitation networks in several areas of Beit Lahia, serving about 30,000 people.
CMWU is carrying out emergency maintenance of water and sanitation networks in the following areas of Beit Lahia city, in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Beit Lahia Municipality:
- Maintenance of the Al-Mashroa water well, where the electrical panel was maintained and operated
- Maintenance of an 8-inch, 250-meter sanitation line on Al-Ribat Street
- Maintenance of an 8-inch, 50-meter sanitation line on Al-Rizan Street
- Maintenance of a 50mm-diameter, 100-meter water line on Aslan Street
- Maintenance of a 4-inch, 90-meter water line at the Al-Sakafi Street junction
The total number of beneficiaries from this intervention is about 30,000 people.
