As part of ongoing efforts to improve water services and ease the burden on citizens, CMWU, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality, carried out maintenance and improvement works on the water network inside the Al-Israa reservoir in Khan Younis city.

These works aim to ensure fair water distribution and improve service in the Al-Israa and Hamad areas, as the reservoir serves vital areas including Al-Satar, Al-Katiba, Al-Mawasi, and Asda', benefiting more than 200,000 citizens and displaced persons, particularly amid the intense waves of displacement witnessed in the western areas of the city as a result of current conditions.
