Maintenance of Transmission Lines in Al-Qarara Town's Water Network Funded by UNICEF

CMWU, funded by UNICEF, maintained several transmission lines in Al-Qarara town's water network.

CMWU began an emergency intervention to maintain transmission lines in the water network of Al-Qarara town, in partnership with and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, with these works coming to restore the operation of the water pumping system, with maintenance works begun on several transmission lines, including:

  • 6-inch line, Salah Al-Din Street
  • 6-inch transmission line, Al-Jummeiza Street
  • 6-inch transmission line, Al-Abbara Al-Shurouq Street
  • 4-inch line, Al-Abadla Street, Al-Sahaba Mosque
  • 6-inch transmission line, Al-Baladiya Street
  • 6-inch transmission line, Al-Saqqa and Al-Agha Street

Work is continuing to complete the works, with the materials supplied through UNICEF.

It is worth noting that CMWU had, in recent days, operated the Al-Jiyeh water well in Al-Qarara town.
