CMWU, with support from the Red Cross, maintained nine water lines in the Al-Rimal, Al-Nasr, and other neighborhoods of Gaza City.
CMWU, with support from the International Committee of the Red Cross and in cooperation with Gaza Municipality, carried out maintenance works on a number of water lines in various areas of Gaza City, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the continuity of water services and improve their efficiency.
The works included the following:
- Maintenance of a water line north of Al-Abbas junction.
- Maintenance of a water line west of Al-Shifa Hospital.
- Maintenance of a water line on Al-Maghribi Street.
- Maintenance of a water line in the Asqoula area.
- Maintenance of a water line in Al-Rimal neighborhood next to Doha Building (4).
- Maintenance of a water line in Al-Nasr neighborhood, Al-Shifa Street.
- Maintenance of a water line in Al-Nasr neighborhood, Ahmed Al-Shuqairi Street opposite Al-Manara Building.
- Maintenance of a water line in Al-Nasr neighborhood, next to Al-Ahrar junction.
- Maintenance of a water line in Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Abu Khousa junction.
These interventions come as part of ongoing efforts to improve water services for residents and displaced persons in Gaza City, particularly given the difficult conditions facing the Strip, contributing to strengthening the continuity of service and ensuring water reaches the target areas more efficiently.
