CMWU, funded by the Red Cross, electrically maintained the Al-Jiyeh wells in Al-Qarara and New Abasan.
Funded by and in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross, CMWU, in cooperation with Al-Qarara and New Abasan Municipalities, carried out electrical maintenance on the Al-Jiyeh water well in Al-Qarara town, in addition to the New Abasan Municipality well, east of Khan Younis Governorate, southern Gaza Strip, aiming to operate these wells, which sustained severe damage as a result of Israeli bombardment and the recent ground operation on Khan Younis Governorate, which resulted in widespread destruction of the city's infrastructure.
