A glimpse of the periodic maintenance works at the seawater desalination plant south of the Gaza Strip, in order to ensure the continuation of its operation, as this plant serves residents in Rafah and Khan Younis cities, and work is underway to expand it to reach a production capacity of 20,000 cubic meters/day, to become capable of serving wide areas of Khan Younis and Rafah governorates, funded by the European Union through UNICEF, in cooperation with the Palestinian Water Authority and CMWU.
