CMWU, with support from the Red Cross, maintained the Al-Satar and Ma'an wells in Khan Younis, K20 in Deir al-Balah, G-49 in Nuseirat, and the Al-Fukhari reservoir.
CMWU, in partnership with and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, carried out several interventions to maintain a number of wells and water facilities in scattered areas of central and southern Gaza, with these works aiming to restore the operation of the water pumping system amid the significant increase in water needs during summer, with the following wells maintained:
- Al-Satar well - Khan Younis
- Ma'an well - Khan Younis
- K20 well - Deir al-Balah
- Upgrading the pumping system at the G-49 well - Nuseirat
- The main Al-Fukhari reservoir
