Relocation and Maintenance of the Control Panels for the Kuwaiti Water Reservoir in Nuseirat

CMWU, in partnership with the Red Cross, relocated the control panels for the Kuwaiti water reservoir in Nuseirat after its room was bombed; the reservoir serves about 170,000 people.

In cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross and Nuseirat Municipality, CMWU relocated and maintained the control and operating panels for the Kuwaiti water reservoir in Nuseirat, central Gaza Strip, aiming to ensure the reservoir's continued operation and the arrival of water supplies to residents of the target areas, as the reservoir serves about 170,000 people, particularly given current conditions and the large number of displaced persons in the areas benefiting from the reservoir.

It is worth noting that the reservoir's electrical control room was struck by Israeli bombardment, causing significant damage and destruction, and given the approach of the rainy season, the Utility, under emergency measures, relocated, maintained, and operated the panels in an adjacent room at the same site.
