The technical team successfully restarts the Central Treatment Plant in Khan Younis after it stopped during the Israeli aggression.
The Central Treatment Plant's Technical Team in Khan Younis Succeeds in Restarting It
CMWU's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq announced the success of the technical team at the sewage treatment plant in Khan Younis, under the supervision of CMWU's Technical Department, in operating the plant and bringing it back to work as it was before the aggression, to receive the quantities of sewage water arriving to it from various areas of Khan Younis governorate.
In turn, Eng. Monther Shoblaq thanked everyone who contributed to enabling the technical teams to restart the plant, particularly Khan Younis Municipality's Mayor Eng. Alaa Al-Din Al-Batta and Eng. Yahya Al-Astal, Consultant to CMWU's Board of Directors, also highly praising the tireless efforts made by CMWU's Technical Department, in addition to the dedication of the operating team working at the plant, which led to restarting the plant's operation and preventing the collapse of the service for the residents of Khan Younis governorate.
