CMWU Receives the Ministerial Delegation at Its Main Headquarters in Central Gaza Strip

In continuation of the ministerial delegation's mission in the Gaza Strip, which aims to learn about the Gaza Strip's various needs, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic and its repercussions on all aspects of life, Minister of Public Works and Housing Dr. Mohammed Ziara and Minister of Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Eng. Osama Al-Saadawi visited CMWU's main headquarters in Al-Zahra city, central Gaza Strip, in order to closely learn about the most important challenges and difficulties facing CMWU and discuss ways to overcome them, in order to continue providing water and sanitation services to the residents of the Gaza Strip, in cooperation and coordination with all municipalities.
The ministerial delegation was received by CMWU's Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Majed Abu Ramadan, CMWU's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq, and his deputies Eng. Maher Al-Najjar, Eng. Omar Shatat, and Mr. Mamdouh Al-Ghazali, and the projects managers.
During the meeting, the Ministers affirmed that the ministerial delegation's mission to the southern governorates aims to provide all support to the various vital sectors in the Gaza Strip, particularly health, relief, water, and sanitation, as the most important basic services affecting the lives of the Strip's residents.
In turn, Dr. Majed Abu Ramadan highly praised the ministerial delegation's visit to CMWU's headquarters, which reflects the Palestinian government's keenness, attention, and follow-up on the needs and problems suffered by the residents of the Gaza Strip, particularly amid the exceptional circumstances the Strip's residents are currently going through, affirming the importance of continuing this attention and support, particularly for the water and sanitation services sector, with the desalination plants and sewage treatment plants beginning operation and the continuing complications of the political and economic situation.
At the end of the meeting, the ministerial delegation affirmed its keenness to follow up on CMWU's emergency needs with the relevant national institutions through the Council of Ministers, in order to enable CMWU to continue providing its services to the residents of the Gaza Strip, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic.
