CMWU Continues Implementing a Rainwater Network Construction Project in Various Areas of the Gaza Strip

As part of the project to construct rainwater networks in various areas of the Gaza Strip, funded by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), CMWU began extending a 60cm-diameter rainwater drainage line, 260 linear meters long, on Mus'ab bin Umair Street in the Abu Midyan area of Al-Bureij camp, central Gaza Strip, aiming to solve the rainwater drainage problem in the area, which was considered one of the most important hotspots in the winter season.
It is worth noting that this project includes rehabilitating a rainwater line in the Hammouda Roundabout area in Beit Hanoun, to solve the rainwater flooding problem in that area, a rainwater drainage line in the Alyan Al-Sheikh area in Gaza city, and constructing a rainwater line in the Awni Al-Harthani School area in Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, aiming to strengthen the rainwater drainage system in those areas and protect residents and their property from the risks of rainwater flooding.
