Continuing the final phase of installing desalination units at the seawater desalination plant south of Deir al-Balah, funded by the European Union through UNICEF.

CMWU continues the works of the small-scale seawater desalination plant project south of Deir al-Balah, with the final phase of the project underway, namely installing the desalination units. This phase is expected to be completed soon, and the plant will serve the western areas of Rafah and Khan Younis governorates, with the plant, upon completing the current phase during this summer, to produce 6,000 cubic meters daily.
