CMWU Completes Emergency Maintenance of the Water Transmission Line to Khan Younis
CMWU crews, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality, and in field coordination with the Palestinian Water Authority, carried out emergency maintenance on the water transmission line from the South seawater desalination plant to Khan Younis city, restoring water pumping to the city after it had stopped due to emergency faults.
This intervention comes amid the cutoff of water supplies from the Mekorot line, causing a significant deficit in water supplies to displaced persons and residents in the Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.
