CMWU Carries Out Maintenance Works on a Number of Sewage Pumping Stations Spread Across All Areas of the Gaza Strip

As part of the "Rehabilitation, Maintenance, and Development of Sewage Pumping Stations Project" funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, CMWU carried out multiple maintenance works at the Central Nuseirat pumping station and Al-Maghraqa station, in addition to Tal Al-Sultan and Al-Mujadala stations, south of the Gaza Strip.
This project comes as part of the projects through which CMWU seeks to develop and rehabilitate sewage pumping stations and facilities in all cities of the Gaza Strip, aiming to raise their efficiency to ensure the continuation of their operation as required, in addition to preparing them to receive the winter season.
It is worth noting that CMWU had, during the past few weeks, carried out maintenance works affecting numerous sewage pumping stations located in all governorates of the Gaza Strip, with CMWU's crews carrying out maintenance works on the Central sewage pumping station in Bani Suheila area, and also "Abu Sorour" sub-station in the same area, in addition to Hawaber and Tal Al-Za'tar stations in Jabalia, Al-Basa station in Deir al-Balah, and Dawwas and Al-Ren in Beit Lahia.
