CMWU Carries Out Maintenance on "Al-Baraka" Sewage Pumping Station in Deir al-Balah

CMWU, in cooperation with Deir al-Balah Municipality, carried out maintenance on "Al-Baraka" sewage pumping station in Deir al-Balah city, central Gaza Strip, aiming to prepare the station to operate at full capacity during the winter season to accommodate and pump the sewage water accumulating in the sanitation network, and to prevent sewage overflow in roads and public places, as that station is considered one of the important pumping stations in that area, serving wide areas of Deir al-Balah city.
This intervention comes in the context of the permanent cooperation between CMWU and all municipalities of the Strip, in order to ensure the continued provision of services to residents, particularly amid the coronavirus pandemic, as CMWU continues to follow up on all maintenance and operation requests for water and sanitation facilities in the Gaza Strip, with what is available at CMWU's warehouses.
