Gaza – CMWU

CMWU, in cooperation with Wadi Gaza Municipality and funded by Action Against Hunger (ACF), rehabilitated the main eastern F205 well in Wadi Gaza town, central Gaza Strip, in order to raise the well's efficiency and increase its productivity to improve the water service provided to residents in the areas benefiting from the well, particularly with the onset of the summer season and residents' increased need for water, as this well serves several areas of the town.

The project's works included drilling a new well and installing a new pump, in addition to carrying out electromechanical maintenance on the well, and connecting it to the water reservoir present in the town and the water distribution network.
