Development and Rehabilitation Project for Al-Bassa Sewage Pumping Station in Deir al-Balah

CMWU, funded by UNICEF, is developing the central Al-Bassa pumping station in Deir al-Balah (90,000 people).

A glimpse of the works of the project to develop and rehabilitate the main "Al-Bassa" sewage pumping station in Deir al-Balah city, central Gaza Strip, implemented by CMWU, funded by UNICEF, and in cooperation with Deir al-Balah Municipality, as Al-Bassa pumping station is considered the central sewage pumping station in Deir al-Balah city and serves about 90,000 people.

It is worth noting that this project aims to raise the efficiency of "Al-Bassa" sewage pumping station, strengthen its readiness to operate, and protect its pumps from sediment and dust, particularly during peak hours and the winter season, to prevent the formation of health hazards and sewage overflow at the site and toward the sea.
