CMWU, funded by UNICEF, continues work on the project to construct a sanitation network in Al-Furqan neighborhood west of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.
It is worth noting that this project aims to end residents' suffering from the absence of a sanitation network and their reliance on cesspits, which pose a great danger to the environment and residents, and this project also currently serves about 2,500 people and will open the way to serving a larger number of residents in the future, with the project including constructing sewage collection networks of various diameters, in addition to household connections.
