CMWU organized a field tour for financial affairs staff at the Northern treatment and desalination plants.
CMWU organized a field tour for the staff of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department at CMWU's main headquarters, targeting a number of strategic facilities, with the tour covering the sewage treatment plant of North Gaza governorate, in addition to the seawater desalination plant north of the Strip. This tour aims to learn about the workflow at those strategic facilities and closely observe the nature of their work, and Deputy Executive Director for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Mamdouh Al-Ghazali, department directors, section heads, and all administrative staff participated in the tour.
The engineering and technical crews at those facilities gave a detailed explanation of the Northern treatment plant's work and its effective role in protecting and improving the environment, in addition to giving an explanation of the seawater desalination plant, and its contribution to easing the burden on the groundwater aquifer and improving the water service for a large number of residents in the targeted areas.
