CMWU conducts regular tests of drinking water quality and adjusts residual chlorine in displaced persons' tanks.
As a continuation of CMWU's role in controlling drinking water quality, the water utility conducts regular tests of residual chlorine and total dissolved solids, with NaDCC tablets added to adjust residual chlorine in water tanks before distribution to displaced persons, with these tablets supplied by the International Committee of the Red Cross during the war for the purpose of disinfecting drinking water.
