"And We Made from Water Every Living Thing" - this Quranic verse sums up much of what could be said on the occasion of World Water Day, and how could it not, when water is the most abundant substance on Earth, covering more than 70% of the Earth's surface.
Water has been and remains the lifeblood of life, as known civilizations flourished wherever water sources were abundant, and collapsed when water sources diminished, all of which demonstrates the importance of water in human life.
Today, March 22nd, marks the anniversary of World Water Day, and on this occasion we present to you the achievements of CMWU in the Gaza Strip, and how it operates during the weather depressions that hit the country during the winter season.
The video, which depicted the way the rescue and emergency teams work around the clock to protect residents and preserve the groundwater, which is considered the sole source of water for residents in the Gaza Strip.
