
Beginning the construction of a 6 km conveyance line from the seawater desalination plant west of Gaza to the Sheikh Radwan reservoir, funded by the Kuwait Fund through the Islamic Development Bank.
Work has begun on the phase of constructing the 6-kilometer conveyance line connecting the seawater desalination plant west of Gaza city to the Sheikh Radwan water reservoir under construction, with CMWU and Gaza Municipality having handed over the work site to the contractor, and the activities of the conveyance line construction phase are expected to be completed at the beginning of July 2016.
It is noted that the seawater desalination plant construction project west of Gaza, with a production capacity of 10 thousand cubic meters/day, is funded by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development to support the Palestinian people - water and sanitation sector - managed by the Islamic Development Bank.
