With hearts believing in God's decree, CMWU mourns the martyrs of national duty, colleagues:

Eng. Assem Al-Najjar

Mr. Hammada Abu Rouk

Mr. Mohammed Atwa Qadeeh

Eng. Ghassan Al-Najjar

who rose to the highest ranks after Israeli occupation forces targeted Khuza'a Municipality crews this morning east of Khan Younis Governorate, while they were heading to a work site, despite security coordination for them through the relevant authorities and giving them the green light to move to the coordinated location, resulting in their martyrdom while carrying out their national and humanitarian duty to serve our people in Khan Younis Governorate.

CMWU extends its heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the martyrs' families, and calls on the United Nations and international institutions and organizations to provide protection for all emergency teams affiliated with the water utility and municipalities, as many emergency teams at CMWU and the municipalities have been subjected to bombardment since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip.
