Continuing Work on the Project to Rehabilitate and Develop the Sewage Basin Pumps at the Central Pumping Station North of the Gaza Strip

Gaza – CMWU

CMWU continues work on the project to rehabilitate the pumping system at the sewage station basins north of the Gaza Strip, which serves all municipalities of North Gaza governorate.

It is worth noting that this intervention comes as part of urgent and emergency intervention mechanisms, funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross.

This project aims to raise the efficiency and strengthen the readiness of the central pumping station and prevent flooding, particularly during peak hours of the year and the rainy season, in addition to raising the readiness level of the entire pumping system and reducing the occurrence of flooding in the basins and their surroundings, and improving the operational performance of the pumping system with all its components.
