CMWU urgently repaired the main Mekorot transmission line in Khan Younis after the incursion, restoring water to the Al-Satar reservoir and Khan Younis Mawasi.
Through the efforts of its technical maintenance team, CMWU carried out urgent repair and maintenance of the damage sustained by the main Mekorot water transmission line in Khan Younis city following the recent incursion into the city, in cooperation with Khan Younis Municipality, where the water utility, through its crews and machinery and by providing the necessary materials from its warehouses, carried out the necessary maintenance, which resulted in restoring water to several areas and neighborhoods of Khan Younis city benefiting via the Al-Satar reservoir, in addition to restoring water to the Khan Younis Mawasi area and the hundreds of thousands of displaced persons residing there.
It is worth noting that the Mekorot water line covers large parts of Salah Al-Din and Omar Al-Mukhtar Streets, known as Road No. (5), the Al-Satar neighborhoods, part of the city center, Al-Mawasi, and hundreds of shelter centers and citizens residing west of Khan Younis.
