Eng. Monther Shoblaq Conducts an Inspection Tour of Some of CMWU's Projects.
CMWU's Director-General Eng. Monther Shoblaq conducted an inspection tour of some of CMWU's projects specific to sewage water treatment, with the tour including a visit to the sewage treatment plant project east of Al-Bureij camp, central Gaza Strip, funded by the German Development Bank, as well as the treatment plant project for Khan Younis governorate, south of the Strip, funded by the Japanese government and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development through the Islamic Development Bank and the United Nations Development Programme, as well as the project to construct the filtration basins in Al-Fukhari area.
He was accompanied on the tour by Eng. Yahya Abu Obeid, the Director-General's Advisor for Sanitation Affairs, and Eng. Fareed Ashour, Director of the Sanitation Management Unit, with this inspection visit aiming to review the progress of work and discuss the technical and logistical aspects of the projects, with the field crews affirming the scale of the great and distinguished achievement in these projects, despite the difficult circumstances the Strip is living through and despite the great obstacles facing the progress of work, with Eng. Monther Shoblaq praising the efficiency and level of work, and also thanking the field crews and all the bodies supervising the projects, hoping these projects would see the light soon after completing all the planned phases.
