
CMWU's Executive Director discussed with Sawaed Relief Association the implementation mechanisms of the Abu Iskandar water network rehabilitation project in Gaza, funded by Canada.
CMWU's Executive Director Eng. Monther Shoblaq received the Chairman of the Board of Sawaed Relief and Development Association, Mr. Jaber Alewa, at CMWU's main headquarters in Al-Zahra city, in the presence of CMWU's Head of the Projects Coordination Department, Eng. Yasmine Bashir.
This was to discuss and agree on the mechanisms and procedures for implementing the water network rehabilitation project in the Abu Iskandar area of Gaza city, in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed on the matter. This comes as part of the project to improve water access to marginalized areas, funded by the Global Fund for Relief and Development in Canada through Sawaed Association.
In turn, Eng. Monther Shoblaq welcomed the visiting delegation of Sawaed Association, praising the efforts made by Sawaed Association in various fields aimed at developing and improving humanitarian and relief work, and emphasizing the importance of the water network rehabilitation project in the Abu Iskandar area given its role in improving the water service provided to the residents of this targeted area.
