Beginning the Expansion of the 7B Rainwater Collection Basin in Gaza City

CMWU, in cooperation with Gaza Municipality and funded through UNICEF, began expanding basin 7B in Gaza city, by excavating about 12,000 m3 to increase the basin's capacity to collect rainwater from an area of 1.5 km² of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza city.
It is worth noting that this project is considered part of the preparation and readiness plan to receive rainwater and ease the risks of rainwater flooding, and this project serves 25,000 residents of Gaza city.
