Beginning the Rehabilitation of Beisan Water Well in Beit Lahia City

Gaza – CMWU

CMWU began rehabilitating Beisan water well in Beit Lahia city, north of the Gaza Strip, as part of the project to maintain water wells and sources in the Gaza Strip implemented by CMWU and funded by the International Committee of the Red Cross, in cooperation with the Strip's municipalities. This project includes carrying out maintenance and rehabilitation for numerous water wells in various governorates, particularly those out of service.

It is worth noting that this project aims primarily to contribute to strengthening the capacity of CMWU and the municipalities to provide their services to residents, particularly amid the difficult conditions and weak capabilities faced by water service providers in the Gaza Strip, in addition to improving water services particularly during the summer season and the increased need for water consumption.
