Completion of the Rainwater Drainage System Construction Project in Abu Fitair Area in Deir al-Balah

CMWU implemented the project to construct a rainwater drainage system in Abu Fitair area, south of Deir al-Balah city, central Gaza Strip, funded by the State of Kuwait through UNICEF, in cooperation with the Water Authority and Deir al-Balah Municipality, with the project including constructing a concrete culvert and rainwater catch basins.
This project aims to protect residents and their property from the risks of rainwater flooding, particularly as the area suffers from rainwater accumulation and flooding entering residents' homes during the winter season, with this project serving about 20,000 people.
