CMWU, in cooperation with Deir al-Balah Municipality and funded by Action For Humanity, completed the construction of a grid-connected solar power plant with a production capacity of up to 40 KWp at Al-Muntazah water well in Deir al-Balah city, central Gaza Strip, aiming to reduce the facility's electric operating costs and improve the water service provided to the residents of the benefiting areas. The well serves about 6,000 people and the project's value is about $64,000.
