Gaza / CMWU
As part of its preparations to begin operating the Central treatment plant east of Al-Bureij, CMWU will, during the coming few days, through its page on the social media platform "Facebook," announce the creation of new job opportunities to form the plant's operating team, including engineers, technicians, and administrators, with application and registration for the positions to be done through links to be published on the Utility's Facebook page during the coming week.
It is worth noting that the Central Gaza Sewage Project is funded by the German government at a value of €70 million and is considered the largest in the homeland's governorates, relying on the latest technology in treatment and will rely on providing electrical power from the biogas generated by the treatment process and solar cells with a capacity of 3.5 megawatts, to serve nearly a million residents in Gaza and Central governorates.
