Announcement of a Sealed-Envelope Tender
Tender No. (CMWU-AUC-02/2017)
CMWU announces a sealed-envelope tender for the sale of "used water and sanitation network meters and parts, pipes and plastic parts, used metalwork parts, furniture, air conditioners, used copper meters, affiliated with CMWU", according to the general and special conditions attached in the tender booklet. Those wishing to bid should observe the following conditions:
- Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of the tender booklet should go to the Tenders and Procurement Department at CMWU, against payment of a non-refundable amount of 100 shekels (one hundred shekels), starting from Sunday, 01/10/2017, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the Utility's headquarters.
- The bidder must submit a bid bond (bid entry bond) at a rate of 10% of the offered price, either in cash, a bank guarantee, or a bank check, valid for no less than 90 days from the tender submission date, and the winner's bid bond will not be refunded if they withdraw from the bid.
- Prices must remain valid for no less than 60 days from the tender submission date, and prices must not include tax (the Utility does not issue a tax invoice).
- The bidder is entitled to participate in any lot among the tender's lots that they deem appropriate.
- Wednesday and Thursday, 04/10/2017 and 05/10/2017, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, have been designated for inspection regarding the materials to be sold by the Utility, at CMWU's main warehouses in Khan Younis, behind Al-Aqsa University.
- The deadline for submitting the tender booklet is 1:00 PM on Monday, 09/10/2017, noting that no bid will be accepted after this date, and offers will not be accepted by fax but must be submitted in a sealed envelope and handed to the reception employee at the Utility's headquarters.
- The envelopes will be opened in the presence of whoever among the bidders wishes to attend, on the tender submission day, Monday, 09/10/2017, at 12:00 noon.
- The Utility reserves the right to cancel or reissue the tender without bearing any liability towards the applicants.
- The newspaper advertisement fees are borne by the winning bidder.
