Job Announcement

Position: Central Pumping Station Operator (2 positions).
Workplace: Central Pumping Station in Wadi Gaza.

Main Job Duties:

1. Responsible for operating all the station's mechanical and electrical systems, control systems, and their accessories correctly and safely.
2. Working with and assisting maintenance and repair teams to complete various routine and preventive maintenance and repair works according to the manufacturer's manual/supplies and the operation and maintenance manual.
3. Diagnosing the need for non-routine corrective maintenance works and preventive maintenance works and preparing reports on them for maintenance.
4. Diagnosing various electrical and mechanical problems, and coordinating to fix malfunctions with the relevant electromechanical maintenance teams.
5. Recording the condition of pumps and mechanical equipment periodically and the works carried out in the operation manuals and the station's daily recording logs.
6. Preparing the required operational reports and records on the progress of work during the shift and reporting any malfunctions to the specialized teams at the station.
7. Maintaining and monitoring tools, equipment, and inventory, and keeping the workplace clean after finishing work.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Electricity and Control, two years post-secondary.
2. Age must not exceed 35 years.
3. No less than four years of experience in related work.
4. Good knowledge of electrical panels, electrical devices and motors, generators, cables, and other electrical equipment used at the station.
5. Good knowledge of English reading and writing.
6. Good knowledge of MS Office programs.
