Rehabilitation Project for Shalāq Well in Al-Zahra City and Well (F203) in Al-Mughraqa Area
The project included the rehabilitation and electromechanical maintenance of Shalāq Well, debris removal, and technical assessment of damaged wells. Al-Mughraqa Well was prepared and test pumping conducted, while rehabilitation of the remaining wells is ongoing. The intervention aims to restore damaged water sources and improve water supply to shelters in Al-Mughraqa and Al-Zahra.

The project consists of two phases. The first phase includes drilling a water well with a capacity of 80 cubic meters per hour to supply the plant with water, along with all necessary electromechanical works. The second phase involves upgrading and expanding the plant’s production capacity to serve approximately 60,000 residents and meet their needs for desalinated water, particularly in light of the difficult conditions faced by people in the Gaza Strip.
