Rehabilitation Project for the “Northern UNRWA” Water Well in Khan Younis City
The well serves the western neighborhoods of Khan Younis City, supplying the Al-Buraq Reservoir operated by Khan Younis Municipality. The reservoir, in turn, distributes water to several areas, including the Japanese Neighborhood, Emirati Neighborhood, Dutch Neighborhood, Western Camp, and Al-Amal Neighborhood.

The project consists of two phases. The first phase includes drilling a water well with a capacity of 80 cubic meters per hour to supply the plant with water, along with all necessary electromechanical works. The second phase involves upgrading and expanding the plant’s production capacity to serve approximately 60,000 residents and meet their needs for desalinated water, particularly in light of the difficult conditions faced by people in the Gaza Strip.
