نظمت مصلحة مياه بلديات الساحل دورة تدريبية بعنوان "آلية التواصل والاتصال" وبالتعاون مع اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر
بحضور المهندس منذر شبلاق مدير عام المصلحة ورئيس اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر في فلسطين.
وتهدف الدورة إلى وضع خطة طوارئ للعمل أتناء الطوارئ والحروب وتشكيل فرق طوارئ وتوفير الإمكانيات لتأمين الحد الأدنى من خدمات المياه والصرف الصحي للمواطنين في قطاع غزة من خلال إصلاح الأضرار التي تلحق بالبنية التحتية والقيام بعمليات تشغيل أنظمة المياه والصرف الصحي.
واشرف المهندس أشرف غنيم مدير دائرة السلامة المهنية في المصلحة على تنظيم الدورة وشارك فيها ثمانون موظفاً من مصلحة المياه وبلديات القطاع من العاملين في قطاع المياه والصرف الصحي.
وفي كلمة له أكد المهندس منذر شبلاق مدير عام المصلحة على أن هذه الدورة تأتي في سياق حرص مصلحة المياه على رفع المستوى الإداري والمهني للعاملين في قطاعي المياه والصرف الصحي , داعيا كافة المشاركين إلى الاستفادة من هذه الدورة ومخرجاتها .
ومن جهته أكد المهندس أشرف غنيم أن هذه الدورة جاءت كنتاج تجارب سابقة في العمل مع الصليب الأحمر خصوصاً في وقت الطوارئ والأزمات والحروب , موضحاً أن جميع المشاركين سوف يتلقون كافة المعلومات المهمة في مجالات مختلفة ومنها القانون الدولي الانساني والتعامل مع مخلفات الحرب وآلية الاتصال والتواصل والتنسيق , وقراءة الخرائط.
وأشار غنيم أن الدورة تخلص في نهايتها إلى تشكيل فريق طوارئ مركزي يشمل كل مدن محافظات قطاع غزة وتشكيل غرفة طوارئ مركزية وغرف فرعية موزعة على المحافظات الخمسة, داعيا كافة المشاركين في الدورة إلى الاستفادة من خبرات الصليب الأحمر في التعامل وقت الحروب والطوارئ ورفع مستوى التنسيق للتدخل العاجل وعمل الإصلاحات في المناطق الحدودية.
وبدورهم شكر المشاركون في الدورة مصلحة مياه بلديات الساحل واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر على تنظيم كافة المعلومات من الناحية النظرية والعملية والتي تعكس مدى اهتمامهم وحرصهم على سلامة العاملين في أقسام المياه
والصرف الصحي وخدمة المواطنين في ظل الأزمات والحروب المتكررة على قطاع غزة.
Coastal Municipality Water Utility Organizes a Training Course Entitled "Communication and Liaison Mechanism" in Collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

CMWU organized a training course entitled "communication and liaison mechanism" in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the presence of Engineer Monther Shoblaq, director general of CMWU and the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Palestine.
The course aims to create a contingency plan to work in the emergency time and war, to form emergency teams, moreover, to provide the potential to secure a minimum level of water and sanitation services to the citizens in the Gaza Strip through the repair of damages in the infrastructure and operating the water and sewage systems.
Engineer Ashraf Ghoneim, director of occupational safety department in the CMWU, the coordinator of the session which was attended by eighty employees from the PWA and the municipalities of Gaza Strip which are working in the water and sanitation sector.
In his speech, Eng. Monther Shoblaq, Director General of CMWU emphasized that this session comes in the context of the Water Authority's awareness to raise the administrative and professional level for those working in the sectors of water and sanitation calling on all participants to take advantage of this session and its outputs.
From his part, Eng. Ashraf Ghoneim stressed that this session came as a product of previous experiences in working with the Red Cross especially in emergencies, crises, and wars time explaining that all participants will receive all the important information in various fields including the international humanitarian law; dealing with the remnants of the war; and the mechanism of communication, liaison, and coordination, and reading maps.
Ghoneim said that the session concludes at the end to form a centralized emergency team including all the cities of the Gaza Strip as well as the formation of a central emergency room and sub- rooms divided into five provinces calling on all participants in the session to take advantage of the Red Cross experiences in handling in the time of war and emergency and to raise the coordination of the urgent intervention level and to reform the damages in the border areas.
In their turn, the participants in the session thanked CMWU and ICRC for their organization of all the information theoretically and practically which reflects the extent of their interest and keenness on the safety of workers in the water and sanitation section and serving the citizens in the light of the repeated crises and wars in the Gaza Strip.
